What Is a Lifetime Saju Reading? What It Covers and How You Receive It
A lifetime saju reading looks at your personality, money, work, relationships, and health through your birth chart and the cycles that change every ten years, rather than just one year’s outlook. At Seowoon, that reading is Cheonmun-gwan’s “Lifetime Record”. You can read the first 2 of its 15 chapters without paying.
1. What Does a Lifetime Saju Reading Calculate?
The Four Pillars of your birth (saju, 四柱) consist of eight characters: a heavenly stem and an earthly branch for each of your birth year, month, day, and hour. The year and month pillars change at solar-term boundaries (the Start of Spring · Awakening of Insects…), rather than calendar dates. The day and hour pillars are set using the actual solar time at your birthplace (true solar time).
A lifetime saju reading considers these eight characters alongside your ten-year periods (daeun, 大運). An annual reading asks, “What does this year hold?” A lifetime reading asks, “What nature were you born with, and when do the major shifts come?”
2. What a Lifetime Saju Reading Usually Covers
The foundation is your birth chart itself (eight characters · five-element distribution · day pillar), your personality and temperament (Day Master · Ten Gods), life areas such as money · career · love and marriage · health, and timing through your ten-year periods (early · middle · later life, plus annual outlooks for the next few years).

3. Four Ways to Receive a Lifetime Saju Reading
Automated web reading — Enter your birth date to get an on-screen reading based on your calculated chart. There is no wait, and you can read preview chapters first.
A written report — A reader reviews your chart and writes a PDF or document for you. Delivery takes time, so check how its length is measured (pages · characters) beforehand.
1:1 consultation — Ask questions by phone · chat. You can ask what is on your mind right away, but check whether you will receive a record of the session.
In-app purchase — Unlock individual sections within a fortune-reading app.
4. Five Things to Check Before Paying
① Length — Is it measured in chapters · pages · characters? ② Returning to your reading — How long will you have access, and on which devices? ③ Unknown birth time — Is the hour pillar omitted, or is a time filled in arbitrarily? ④ Calculation method — Does it use solar-term boundaries and true solar time adjustments? ⑤ Refunds — Since cancellation rights for digital content are limited once delivery begins, are the preview and table of contents detailed enough?

Frequently asked questions
When should I get a lifetime saju reading?
Your eight birth characters stay the same throughout your life, so one reading is enough. Many people return to it when a new ten-year period begins or before making a major decision.
Can I get a reading if I do not know my birth time?
Yes. If you select “Time unknown”, Seowoon leaves out the hour pillar (siju, 時柱) and calculates your chart using three pillars. The areas associated with the hour pillar—children and later life—will be less specific.
Should I use the solar or lunar calendar?
Use whichever you know. If you choose the lunar calendar, also select whether it was a leap month. Either way, the calculation uses solar terms to produce the same birth chart.
How is a New Year reading different from a lifetime reading?
A New Year reading looks at how that year's stem and branch affect your birth chart. A lifetime reading explores the chart itself and the flow of your ten-year periods.
How many chapters are in the Lifetime Record, and how much can I read for free?
There are 15 chapters, and you can read the first 2 in full without paying. Full access costs 39,700 KRW.
Can I get a refund for a reading I purchased?
Readings are digital content unlocked immediately upon payment, so cancellation and refunds are unavailable once access is granted (Article 17, Paragraph 2, Subparagraph 5 of Korea's Electronic Commerce Act). That's why we let you read the opening chapters in full for free. However, you'll receive a full refund if the paid chapters don't unlock, a reading generated after payment isn't completed within 24 hours, or the content differs from the product description or table of contents. Purchases made by minors without a legal guardian's consent may also be canceled.
Can I get a refund for credits I purchased?
Within 7 days of purchase, you can cancel the unused portion without a fee. After that, you can receive a refund for your remaining paid credits, minus 10% (or 1,000 KRW if the amount is under 10,000 KRW). Bonus and reward credits from that purchase are also deducted proportionally. Free credits received through bonuses, rewards, or promotions are nonrefundable.
Can I revisit a reading I purchased?
You can reopen it in the browser you used to pay. If you sign in with your phone number, you can also continue reading on other devices through your Reading Library.
